About Dr. Fedon Lindberg

The Glukofix concept and product has been developed by Fedon Alexander Lindberg, Medical Doctor and Specialist in Internal Medicine, with over 30 years of clinical experience. Dr. Lindberg's practice focuses primarily on the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic and hormonal disorders such as diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, cardiovascular and lipid disorders.

Dr. Lindberg received his medical degree in 1985 from the University of Athens. Early in 1999, Dr. Lindberg founded Dr. Fedon Lindberg’s Clinic, the first clinic in Norway specializing in the integrative treatment of Obesity and the Metabolic Syndrome.  With over 15.000 patients in its files, Dr. Lindberg’s Clinic in Norway offers state-of-the-art services and a multidisciplinary, integrative approach to lifestyle diseases and obesity. The staff includes specialists in Internal Medicine, Functional Medicine, Nutrition Medicine, Psychology and Exercise Physiology as well as in Clinical Nutrition.
Since 2001, Dr. Lindberg has authored and published 20 books on Nutrition and Health, many of which have become international best sellers and have been translated into 14 languages and published in 21 countries in all continents.  He is also an internationally acclaimed lecturer.

Dr. Lindberg’s Academy has developed an educational concept for people interested in healthy living as well as for those with lifestyle diseases and overweight/obesity. Through specially trained lifestyle counsellors with a medical and/or nutrition-related background, Dr.Lindberg’s Academy offers classes to the public in order to promote lifestyle modification towards a balanced, low glycemic load, “Slow Carb” Mediterranean diet and healthier living. The Academy offers courses to both private individuals and companies and has developed extensive educational material.

Dr. Fedon Products AS, a Norwegian company founded by Dr. Lindberg, focuses on developing, licensing and marketing functional low glycemic, perfectly balanced foods and natural dietary supplements under the  “Dr. Fedon” brand and other proprietary brands such as Glukofix.
