What Is GlukoFix ?
GlukoFix contains 100% alpha cyclodextrin, a special natural water-soluble type of dietary fiber, which contributes to the reduction of blood glucose rise after starch-containing meals (bread, all flour based products, potatoes and other root vegetables, rice, pasta, cereals, cereal bars, pulses/legumes like beans, peas and lentils, banana etc.). To have this effect, at least 5 g of GlukoFix per 50 g of starch should be consumed.
- Good for anyone who wants to avoid high and prolonged blood sugar spikes after meals.
- Reduces blood sugar spikes after eating starch containing food.
- Can be used in or together with starchy food.
- Easy to portion, comes in a box with 30 sachets of 5g each (enough for 50g of starch).
- Helps both diabetics and non–diabetics to continue enjoying reasonable amounts of high glycemic starchy foods like bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, baked goods with flour, cereals, grains, seeds, cereal bars, breakfast cereals (Corn flakes, Musli etc) as part of a balanced and varied diet and achieve significant reduction in post meal blood sugar spikes and blood sugar fluctuations.
The product is suitable for everyone, including people with diabetes. GlukoFix contributes to significantly lower blood sugar after meals with starch. Therefore, people with diabetes, who use medications that can cause low blood sugar, need to adjust the dose in consultation with their doctor. GlukoFix is also a good way to achieve the recommended daily fiber intake.
- GlukoFix has a completely neutral taste and does not affect the taste or texture of other foods or beverages.
- GlukoFix is a white powder, dissolves easily in water and becomes invisible after a few seconds.
- The ingredient in Glukofix has substantial scientific documentation and EU / EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) approved health claim in relation to reducing blood sugar rise after meals with starch.
- Upon extended/daily use GlukoFix has shown in scientific research (Comerford et al, 2011) to have a positive effect on body weight, blood cholesterol, insulin and triglycerides.
